Wand: Eleven Inches, Ash and Phoenix Feather Core, Rigid. The wand has been passed down Axen's family line and is over two hundred years old. It is so worn, that the feather is not completely concealed within it and as a result, the handle has an orangey flame that softly licks from the fluffy protruding relic. The flame increases in intensity and turns bright blue as it draws the wizards power. The flame does not burn to the touch and does not set light to other materials. It holds no other significance over the wands power.

Creature: Axen is the master of a very fearsome, aggressive and powerfully strong, brown Hippogriff, named Drakanat.

Physical Description: He is six feet and five inches tall, of average build, has formal mid-length, side parted hair that is two toned: Dark brown at the root and light blond at the tip. He has sky blue eyes, soft likable facial features and no bodily scars to speak of. He doesn't mix colours when it comes to clothing, but he does wear long flowing complete robes, or suits, sometimes in full black, other times in full white.

Personality: Overall, he could be considered to be a modest genius with a split personality, but unlike most people with this type of affliction, he has ultimate control over when these two personalities come to the surface. Also being a very secretive man, he adopts wand-less magic whenever possible and very rarely voices incantations for all to hear. The first of these two personas expresses only a single prominent emotion: Happiness. When he is in this state of mind, he is much more sociable with others and sees nearly everything around him as being great, fascinating or just as an excuse to celebrate.

If he is not expressing his immense happiness about something, then he is in his only other frame of mind: Completely blank and unreadable. It's impossible to know what he is thinking as he conveys nothing other than complete control over his faculties, a blank expressionless face and total emotional detachment from anything that happens around him. In both persona's he could very easily observe a member of his own family being murdered by another and not give it a second thought. Under the same set of circumstances he could also just as easily choose to save a perfect stranger, for no definitive reason.

He has never in his entire life been seen by another person to be angry, sad, disgusted or scared. Although he can experience happiness, it isn't possible for him to feel real love without a combined sense of all other emotions and so it is yet another that he is unable to express. People could be forgiven for being unsure of where his loyalties would lie if war broke out within the wizarding world as he is simply far too excepting of both good and evil. His loyalties could remain unknown and he could go either way or just remain neutral.

Likes: He strives to learn everything that he possibly can, so his favourite hobby would be learning. Almost anything that happens around him can be equally rewarding, be it good or evil, as it's all a potential learning experience to him.

Dislikes: If he is ever offered something with Marmite spread on it, he will eat it, only as a show of good manners, but he doesn't really like the taste of the spread. Other than that, there is very little that he dislikes.

Family: His family line are all of pure-blood decent and have an as yet unbroken tradition of marrying only a year out of school.

History: He has spent the majority of his life in the pursuit of gaining knowledge. His early years were mostly unremarkable, but during his youth, his parents tended to turn a blind eye to his lack of emotional feedback toward them. He was not exactly an unpleasant child, but he did often give the impression of being snobbish and uncaring of other people's feelings. They were either interesting to him, or else they were not important enough to be bothered about and hence, he tended to ignore them. This attitude of course, didn't earn him very many child-hood friends and the few that did take his interest, often had their own little quirks.

Instead of worrying about there son's attitude, and being part of a long line of proud pure-blooded wizarding heritage, his parents started his magical education as early as they could, engaging him in many rigorous study practices to help thoroughly prepare him, so that when the time came, he would have his pick of any amount of the promising careers available to the wizarding community. Already being a very smart and knowledgeable boy before ever having started at Hogwarts, his natural ability to absorb the many wise teachings of his professors allowed him to continue to do well in all of his intellectual pursuits.

He was often so unnaturally involved in his studies, that he barely had the time to spare to strike up any strong bonding friendships among his fellow class mates through his years at the school. As a result of spending less time devoted to socializing, he whiled away most of his time indulging in learning many more subjects than most other students ever would and some that went far beyond the stated curriculum of the times. He ended up graduating at the top of all his classes, achieving additional qualifications through his long hours tucked away in the cavernous school library, with even the restricted section being opened up to him at his then powerful parents request.

One person whom he did include in his very select group of interests, was a girl in his own house and the same year as him, named Naiobi Lundeska. She regularly studied with him and shared quite a few of his interests and although he was not really able to show her the same affection, she came to care for him very deeply over time. After their final year at Hogwarts, staying in close contact and having chipped her way into his rather blank exterior, the two decided to become a couple. Naiobi also being a part of a similarly tradition orientated family, married Axen exactly one year after their graduation and it was only a year on from that, that they conceived a child together.

He was never short of options, but when he left Hogwarts, he turned down a number of hugely coveted offers and instead accepted a low level job in the ministry of magic within the department of law enforcement. His employers quickly found him to be a very skilled individual and promptly moved him through the ranks, while he notched up a number of exceptionally successful cases along the way. Though he never accepted a top placement within the Ministry, two years past and he was suddenly approached by the head of the department of mysteries, who offered him a place as an unspeakable, also claiming to have been monitoring his impressive progress through the short length of time.

He has spent the remainder of his time under the employ of the department of mysteries as a highly valued agent and only a short while before the group known as the Seven started to become a recognised criminal organization within the main wizarding community, was he sent on a top secret intelligence gathering mission for the department of mysteries involving a large number of objectives and operations, both large and small in scale. He has been under deep cover for the past fifteen years, travelling the world. During his time away, he has learned more and more and become fluent in an additional twelve languages, on top of the twenty three that he already knew and has also picked up a rather distinct Russian accent.

Being away for so long, he has now arrived back to find that the world he left behind has changed. During the course of his absence, his whole family has been the target of multiple murder attempts, which he suspects to have been bait killings to try and coax him into giving himself away. His own parents have managed to escape with their lives on a number of occasions, but although he has not shed a tear over the years, both his wife, his daughter and her husband were eventually hunted down and captured, brutally tortured and finally murdered. Axen's grandson, Jeffrey Caudwell was also targeted on a number of occasions, but was rescued, but not before being afflicted with a terrible irreversible curse.

Rejoining wizarding society, he finds that his old employer has also died during his time away and that his post has been taken up by another person unknown to him. Being used to the old ways, Axen's methods are slightly different and to some very questionable to those of today. Not really being concerned by issues of seniority, nor wishing to upset the balance of any potentially corrupt power hungry individuals, Axen now re-enters the ministry at his previous post of unspeakable, to deliver his fifteen year report, but not before he is stopped by the portrait of his extremely paranoid former employer to discuss a new assignment before he goes to see his new head of department.
